    1365 Volunteer Portal

1365 Volunteer Portal is South Korea’s official government-run volunteer platform where users can search for volunteer opportunities, track certified volunteer hours, and download official participation records. It is especially useful for foreigners in Korea because volunteer hours logged through 1365 can count toward certain visa point systems and immigration applications. The platform offers opportunities across Korea in areas like community service, festivals, environmental cleanups, education, and social welfare. Unfortunately, the website is almost entirely in Korean and has very limited English support, so navigating it can be challenging for non-Korean speakers, but it remains one of the most valuable volunteering resources available for foreigners living in Korea.

Official Busan Metropolitan City - AI translated press releases

This is a real-time news feed where the city's official Korean press releases are automatically translated into English. While the city has always had an English website, traditional human translation is slow and often limited to only the "biggest" news. By using AI, Busan can provide a much higher volume of information—almost everything the city hall announces—to English speakers instantly.
