About This Event
The I'm in Busan Impact Hackathon 2026 invites university students to collaborate with innovative startups tackling climate and sustainability challenges. Over a two week program, participants will develop AI-powered solutions for real business needs such as market entry, branding and localization, ESG partnerships, workflow automation, and business development.
No prior AI experience is required. The program begins with online training and mentoring before participants build practical solutions, including web applications, automation tools, dashboards, or prototypes. Teams will then pitch their projects during the I'm in Busan Conference at BPEX.
Participants receive free AI education, one-on-one mentoring, networking opportunities with startups and investors from Korea and Indonesia, an official completion certificate, and the opportunity to compete for cash prizes.
The program is available in both Korean and English. Students may participate individually or as a team.
