Fearless Girls Free Surf Lesson at Songjeong Beach

Start your Saturday morning in the water with Fearless Girls Surf Camps at Songjeong Beach. 🌊🏄‍♀️ Fearless Girls Surf Camps is coming to Busan with a free surf lesson for women at Surfy Surfy on Saturday, October 10. The morning is an opportunity to get out on the water, meet other women, and experience the community behind Fearless Girls, an international surf camp project founded by Defne Ezgi. Fearless Girls brings women together through surf experiences designed around learning, improving skills, making connections, and sharing time in the water. The project also has a broader mission: Defne says profits from its Surf Camps are intended to support Fearless Girls Swim Camps, a sister project providing free swimming lessons for underserved women and girls in developing countries. For the Busan event, 10 participants will be able to join the free surf lesson at Songjeong Beach. Afterward, Fearless Girls will host a casual beach lunch, giving everyone a chance to relax and connect off the boards as well. Not surfing? Defne has also invited additional members of the community to join the group for the free lunch, even if they are not participating in the surf lesson. What to bring: Swimwear and a towel. Supia presents a contemporary fusion gugak performance, combining elements of traditional Korean music with a modern approach. Soribadi Pungmul Troupe follows with a festive performance of pungmul and samulnori, bringing the energy of Korean percussion and folk performance to the street in celebration of the Chuseok season. The event is part of the September Balcony Music Show program in central Busan.

WITHLY Hangout: Free Language Exchange Party

Join WITHLY for its sixth Hangout, a free language exchange party bringing together Koreans and internationals for an afternoon of coffee, conversation, games, and new connections. The event is designed to be welcoming even if participants don't speak the same language or are attending for the first time. Rather than focusing only on conversation practice, the Hangout incorporates mini-games and activities to make it easier to meet people in a relaxed environment.
