Join us for the opening reception of a powerful photographic exhibition by Moayed Abu Ammouna, capturing life and resilience from within Gaza.

The exhibition opens on Saturday, May 2nd at 2:00 PM at Arise Art Space, featuring an introductory talk with Raja Yesin. While Moayed is unable to travel, he will present his work through a special video message.

We are honored to host Raja Yesin, a third-generation member of the Palestinian diaspora based in Busan, as our guest speaker. Her family history traces from the 1948 Nakba in Palestine to Jordan, and ultimately to South Korea, where she studied film and now works. As an active voice in Palestinian solidarity movements across Busan and Seoul, she connects communities through speech and interpretation, linking Moayed’s perspective on Gaza to the broader transnational Palestinian experience of displacement and resistance.
