About This Event
The KOTESOL Well-Being SIG and Research SIG invite you to participate in a workshop and networking event in vibrant Busan this autumn.
Abstract
An interactive workshop exploring the unspoken dynamics that shape communication, trust, hierarchy, and decision-making in Korean workplaces. Through real-life scenarios and practical reflection, participants will gain the context and cultural understanding to navigate professional life in Korea without getting lost in translation.
Speaker
With a background in global HR and wellness coaching, Juhee Jeong brings together insight into people, personal growth, and cross-cultural dynamics. She spent seven years working as an HR Manager in multinational organisations across Asia, leading diverse teams and gaining first-hand experience in communication, collaboration, and leadership across cultures. She is also the Founder of The Life Inspired, a wellness lifestyle company based in Busan that curates restorative experiences inspired by the city’s nature, mindfulness, and slow-living culture. Her work focuses on helping people cultivate well-being, pursue meaningful personal growth, and unlock their potential through greater self-awareness, clarity, and understanding.
