About This Event
📢 DIVE 2026 Global Data Hackathon Participant Recruitment
This is a global data hackathon competition hosted by the Busan Metropolitan Government.
Teams that include at least one international student will receive additional points during the document screening stage, so feel free to recruit teammates in the comments below!
📌 Event Overview
Date: July 25 (Sat) to July 26 (Sun), 2026
(2-day, 1-night event)
Venue: BEXCO Exhibition Center 2, 4F Hall, Busan
Participants: Around 300 people including domestic/international university students, office workers, and the general public

Team Size: Applications are only accepted in teams of 2 to 4 people
⭐ Bonus Points: Teams with at least one international student member will receive extra points during the screening process

🏆 Awards
Total Prize Pool: 10 million KRW
(Grand Prize: 3 million KRW)
Award Scale: A total of 30 awards including the Busan Metropolitan Mayor’s Award and other category prizes
Major Awards
Grand Prize (Mayor’s Award): 3,000,000 KRW
Top Excellence Award (Mayor’s Award): 1,000,000 KRW
Excellence Award (Mayor’s Award): 500,000 KRW
Additional track awards will also be given to top-performing teams.
