The 2026 Busan International Performing Arts Market (BPAM) returns for its fourth edition, bringing together performing artists, organizations, international delegates, and audiences for seven days of performances and industry exchange.
Unlike a conventional industry-only arts market, BPAM describes itself as a festival-style performing arts market, with much of its performance program designed for the general public alongside professional networking and business programs. This year's program spans theater, dance, music, and multidisciplinary arts at venues across Busan. BPAM
The performance program includes full-length BPAM Choice works, shorter Official Showcase performances, Busan-created projects through Wave, emerging local artists through Next Stage, and BPAM Link partner performances taking place around the city. The professional side includes booths, pitching sessions, one-on-one meetings, seminars, academies, and networking events. BPAM
The festival opens on October 1 at 7:00 PM at Sohyang Theater Woori Bank Hall with QUAD, Questions of Theatre: The Sound of Macbeth by Kimara P.Group TAE. The opening program combines a 30-minute ceremony with the 100-minute performance, with tickets priced at ₩20,000.
