About This Event
Between Surfaces explores the idea that a surface is more than simply the exterior of an object. It can be a boundary, a permeable membrane, and a place where interactions occur and traces are left behind.
Through the fibres of hanji, the weave of cloth, and the grain of paper, the exhibition considers surfaces as sites of preservation, absorption, and change. It invites visitors to reconsider what might appear to be merely a facade and discover the deeper stories that surfaces can hold.
The exhibition is part of Polyphonic Lab: Busan (다면적 실험실), a collaborative exhibition involving 15 galleries across Dong-gu, Suyeong-gu, and Haeundae-gu during the Busan Biennale period.
