I was born in Korea, but after marrying my Dutch husband, I spent 20 years living in the Netherlands. We later returned to Korea and now call Busan home. During my years in the Netherlands, I worked in media and broadcasting. Today, I work as an insurance adviser with Samsung Life Insurance in Busan, advising both corporate and private clients. Having lived for many years in both Korea and the Netherlands, I enjoy seeing Busan through both a Korean and an international perspective.

Riemer Kramer is a Dutch educational and business consultant who moved to Busan in 2024 and now calls the city home. Alongside his work with Kramer & Co Consulting and Korea Study Guide, he represents the Dutch Business Council Korea in Busan and the surrounding region. His professional interests bring together international education, connections between Korea and the Netherlands, and support for organisations finding their way in the Korean market.
